As we all know, in the world of fashion nothing quite compares to the Fashion Week productions in New York, Milan, and Paris. However, February 8th kicked off the second annual Birmingham Fashion Week and once again proved that Alabama is gaining momentum to become an influence in the fashion community. One of my dearest friends Alexandra Duffley was selected to show her collection of 4 looks and placed as a finalist. I am so proud of her and I would love to wear any of these pieces! Alexandra will be interning with Marchesa this summer and is sure to be an up and coming designer in the near future.
